WPL invites the public to Community Conversations: Understanding Our Relationship with Stress

Westchester Public Library, in partnership with Mental Health America of Porter County and Pines Village Retirement Communities, invites the public to attend Community Conversations, a series featuring area professionals sharing insight with the community on health-related topics that may be difficult to discuss. This is a free, educational event and everyone is welcome to attend.
April’s Community Conversations presentation will be, “Understanding Our Relationship with Stress” on Tuesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. It will take place in the Baugher Center, located at 100 W. Indiana Ave., Chesterton.
Join Ann Macker, Executive Director of Mental Health America of Porter County, for a beginner's guide to understanding our relationship with stress, including common misconceptions. Since 1953, MHA of Porter County has been a voice for those with mental illness in our community. They work to promote mental health and wellness through education and social support.
