Unused/Expired Prescription Collection Day
The DEA and Griffith Police Department will be collecting unused or expired prescription medications behind the Griffith Police Department on April 26th from 10 am - 2 pm. In addition, the Griffith Police Department has a prescription drug drop off box in the lobby of the PD (115 N. Broad St) that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Griffith Fire Dept Auxiliary Chili Cook Off
The Griffith Fire Dept Auxiliary will be hosting their annual chili cook off on Saturday April 26th from 12 pm - 4 pm. The event will take place at the Griffith Senior Center which is located at 349 N. Indiana St. For more information on this event please click HERE. Thank you for your support.

Treasured Friends Fundraiser At 5 Below
Treasured Friends (which works directly with Griffith Animal Control) will be conducting a fundraiser at Five Below. The dates are April 18th - 20th. The stores are located at 10335 Indianapolis Blvd in Highland and 1988 E. 80th Ave in Merrillville. 10% of your purchase will go towards Treasured Friends Rescue which works directly with Griffith Animal Control. Anonymous Crime Tip Line
The Griffith Police Department with the cooperation of the Griffith Safety Board and the Griffith Town Council, have established a tip-line for The Town of Griffith. Citizens wishing to report specific suspicious or criminal activity not requiring immediate police response are encouraged to call and leave a detailed message regarding such activity. Messages left on the tip-line will be reviewed on a regular basis and appropriate action will be taken when warranted. Citizens using the tip-line may choose to remain anonymous. However, citizens who provide their name and telephone number may be contacted by the Griffith Police Department to obtain further details regarding the activity reported. If a citizen chooses to provide their contact information, they still have the right to remain anonymous. If you witness or have information regarding suspicious or suspected criminal activity that does not require immediate police response, please call the Griffith Police Department tip-line at 219-922-3085 or fill it out online by clicking HERE.

Town Council Meeting – Reschedule

Do You Like Gardening?
Imagine Griffith is in need of some helpers to plant and maintain the town flower pots. They are hoping to start placing flowers in May in town and usually meet every other Monday to either work or plan. If interested in helping please contact Valerie at 922-8060. Thank you.
