A Few Spots Remain for 2013 Opportunity Enterprises Marathon Team

OE-Marathon-2012Runners of all ability levels interested in running the sold out Bank of America Chicago Marathon can still register with the OE Marathon Team through July 15. There are a limited number of spots available, and they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

Registration requires an activation fee of $200, and a commitment to raise an additional $550 by September 13. Runners who want to join the team should contact Team Coordinator Alyse Kominakis at 219-464-9621, ext. 233 or alyse.kominakis@oppent.org.

Team membership includes training programs modified for beginning, intermediate, and advanced runners, and includes long weekend runs with water stops supervised by experienced training coordinators. In addition to the training program, team members will enjoy other benefits, including use of an exclusive race day warm-up and reunite area, a team shirt, race day transportation to and from Northwest Indiana, a weekly e-newsletter containing training tips and team updates throughout the training season, a pasta dinner and post-race party during race weekend, and discounts on Northwest Indiana hotels for out-of-town runners and their families. Funds raised by this year’s team will support growth and development at OE’s Lakeside property and the programs which are located there - Enriching Possibilities and the Renewed Horizons Adult Day Center.
