Fans of youth baseball around the country will be focused on Northwest Indiana as the Cal Ripken 12U World Series begins play on Friday in Hammond. Those who aren’t fortunate enough to make it to the games in person at beautiful Optimist Sports Complex can still catch all of the action.
Thanks to the cooperation of AM 1230 WJOB and the City of Hammond, the Region Sports Network will offer live streaming audio and video of all games during the World Series on Regionsports.com.
“We’re excited to be able to bring coverage of the World Series to baseball fans both locally and across the country,” Region Sports Network Sports Director Nathan Laird said. “Visitors to our site will be able to pick up the streaming audio or video – we’ll have both options available.”
