With its 55-24 win over Ohio State on Saturday, Iowa posted its highest point total against a Big Ten opponent since Nov. 22, 2008, when the Hawkeyes posted a 55-0 victory at Minnesota. Nate Stanley threw five touchdown passes and no interceptions in the victory, which was the 400th home win in Iowa’s football history which dates back to 1889 and includes 283 wins at its current home, Kinnick Stadium...

Northwestern became the first FBS program ever to win three consecutive overtime games after the Wildcats’ 31-24 victory at Nebraska last Saturday. During the win, Northwestern running back Justin Jackson became the school’s all-time leader in total touchdowns (39) and also moved into sixth place on the Big Ten’s career rushing list (4,927 yards - second among active FBS students)...

Nebraska’s Chris Weber and Northwestern’s Justin Jackson are among 18 finalists for the Campbell Trophy, presented annually by the National Football Foundation to college football’s top scholar-athlete. Six students from current Big Ten schools have earned the Campbell Trophy, with Penn State’s John Urschel the most recent conference recipient in 2013...
