The Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team completed their regular season with a 21-8 record following an 81-67 win over Wilberforce University on Saturday. The win assured the RedHawks of the No. 1 seed in the A.I.I. postseason tournament in Clinton, Iowa.
Megan Holland had 33 points to lead IUN, while Nicki Monahan added 15 in the win.
Five seniors, Holland, Valarie Zulevic, Annmarie Keller, Brianne Wischman and Rebecca Theriault, were honored prior to the contest.
The IUN men's basketball team lost 88-77 to Wilberforce the same night. IU Northwest completed their season at 9-21 overall. Drew Boetel led the RedHawks with 15 points. Brandon Grubl (14), Brandon Reyes (12) and Quentin Palmer (12) also reached double figures for IUN>
