Lady RedHawks Ink Dynamic Duo from Indy!

iun-redhawks-logoIUN Head Volleyball Coach has been busy this off-season, recruiting new talent for the 2014 Lady RedHawks. "We need to fill a few gaps in our system", stated White. White is very happy to announce that two Indianapolis stand outs will be joining the team.

Alix Baugh, led her team as the Setter at Decatur Central High School, on the south side of Indianapolis. Alix brings six years of experience in her position, and competes in club volleyball as well. "Alix offers our team an experienced Setter. She moves the ball well and has a natural leadership ability.", states Coach White. Baugh is also an excellent student, who plans to major in Education.

Joining Baugh, will be her club volleyball teammate, Abby Stultz. Abby is a spirited Libero for Beech Grove High School, and plays club volleyball as well. "Abby is hard working and fearless in her defensive play. She is fast and anticipates very well.", states White. Abby credits her family for her love of volleyball. A versatile player, Abby stepped into the Setter position for her Senior year of high school.

Stultz and Baugh both play club volleyball for NUF Volleyball Club. Their club coach, Marsha Shoemaker, states that IUN is getting two top notch players and great young women! We welcome them both to an exciting new year of RedHawks volleyball!
