IU Northwest Women Win, Men Fall Short Over Weekend

iun-redhawks-logoMegan Holland had 23 points and Nicki Monahan added 17 as the Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team picked up a 68-57 win over Rochester College on Saturday.

The Lady RedHawks are now 19-8 overall with two games remaining in the regular season before they head to Clinton, Iowa as the number one seed in the A.I.I. post season tournament.

Despite a game-high 49 points from Brandon Grubl, the IU Northwest men's basketball team was not able to top Kuyper College on Saturday, dropping an 89-86 decision. Grubl missed what would have been the go-ahead three-point shot with six seconds remaining. The RedHawks are now 9-19 overall with two games remaining on their schedule.
