Both the Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams picked up wins over Silver Lake College on Monday.
Cody Artuso poured in a game-high 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead the IU Northwest men's team (7-16) to an 84-71 win over SLC. Quentin Palmer (18 points) and Brandon Grubl (11) also scored in double figures for the RedHawks.
Nicki Monahan (26 points) and Megan Holland (22) led a balanced effort for the IU Northwest women in an 86-52 win. The RedHawks doubled their opponent in the first half, taking a 50-25 lead into the break. Silver Lake did not lead the entire game, and IU Northwest led by as much as 40 points.
