Both the men's and women's basketball teams at Indiana University Northwest were in action Tuesday night.
The IUN women improved to 6-3 overall and a perfect 5-0 at home with a 58-46 triumph over visiting Calumet College of St. Jospeh. Megan Holland had 21 points and seven rebounds to pace the RedHawks. Brittany Dewell also chipped in 12 points.
The IUN men's team suffered a 77-72 defeat at Indiana University-Kokomo. Brandon Grubl (21 points) and Brandon Reyes (18) combined to shoot 10-for-18 from beyond the arc in the losing effort. The RedHawks fell to 3-4 overall with the loss.
