Community Healthcare System Joins Ambetter from MHS Network

chs-stockThe hospitals of Community Healthcare System – Community Hospital, Munster; St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart - have joined the Ambetter from MHS network. This partnership includes more than 60 primary care physicians and specialists, and brings the local care of trusted providers to Ambetter members in Northwest Indiana.

Community Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center are known for providing compassionate, high-quality care throughout Northwest Indiana and the south suburbs of Chicago. The hospitals are regional leaders in cancer and cardiovascular care featuring advanced technologies, the latest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, forefront research and a network of highly qualified physicians, nurses and allied health professionals.

MHS has been serving the state of Indiana for more than 20 years through the Hoosier Healthwise (HHW) and Hoosier Care Connect Medicaid programs; the Healthy Indiana (HIP) Medicaid alternative program; the Ambetter from MHS Health Insurance Marketplace product and Allwell from MHS, a Medicare Advantage plan.
