The Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care are hosting another free health fair coming up on June 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Valparaiso Clinic at 2211 Roosevelt Road.
Although not exclusive to Dads, June is the perfect month moth to recognize the occurrence of vein disease in men. Despite the disease’s prevalence in women, it is important that men be educated of the symptoms as well. Through this event, our staff welcomes the community to learn about vein care and the unique treatment plans provided by our doctors.
Symptoms of vein disease include: leg pain, aching, cramping, fatigue, swelling, skin discoloration, spider veins, and varicose veins. It’s a progressive disease, and if left untreated, can result in blood clots and leg ulcers. If you or anyone you know is suffering from these symptoms, join us to learn about the treatments available to you.
During the health fair, attendees will receive: a free vein ultrasound, consult with a physician, a chair massage, and much more. Guests will have the opportunity to speak with our doctors about their concerns.
Check out these articles on our previous health fairs to learn more about what takes place at our events.
Walk-ins are welcome. You can also register for this event online by submitting the following form, or by calling (219) 299-8515.
Vein disease and the symptoms listed above shouldn’t be taken lightly. Please take the opportunity to attend this free health fair to learn of the steps you can take to improve your health and quality of life.
