Franciscan Health Munster nurses were honored May 12 during an annual Franciscan Nursing Award celebration. Nurses were selected in the categories of Staff Nurse-Clinical Nurse, Nurse Leader, Nurse Educator and Ambulatory-Outpatient Nurse. Each winner was lauded in comments by their colleagues that were read aloud by Alisa Murchek, vice president of patient services and chief nursing officer. The nurses received a cake and gifts during the event, which took place during National Nurses Week.
