Multiple ECC Facilities Participate and Bring Home Gold in Franciscan’s Bowl-A-Rama

Multiple Extended Care facilities were excited to show their support at the Franciscan Bowl-A-Rama this past week, bringing team members out to participate in the event to benefit St. Clare Health Clinic.

With Spring Mill Health Campus, Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation, Munster Med-Inn, Sebo’s Nursing and Rehabilitation, Dyer Nursing and Rehabilitation, and St. James Manor and Villas participating, the group not only raised money for a great cause, but they also found themselves reaping additional benefits of the event.

“Our teams really went out to support a great cause this year and it was amazing to take home the gold today,” said Kelly Petty, Regional Director of Business Development of Extended Care. “It was a great evening filled with fun competition, great food, and team building.”

Team members for the evening included A.J. Griffin, Haris Mirza, Steven Runyon, Mike Muvilhil, and Dan Runyon, with Runyon taking home gold for being the highest scoring individual bowler in the tournament. To add to the day’s excitement, Kijuan Pach, son of the admissions director at Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation in Merrillville, took home gold for the highest youth score in the entire tournament!

The Extended Care team was both happy and excited to sponsor the day and provide support for St. Clare Health Clinic. Amy Nikruto, Regional Business Development Director for Extended Care Consulting explained the organization’s pride in participating in the event.

“As an organization, we love coming out with our teams to support great causes like the St. Clare Clinic. It was a great afternoon of team building and the fact that Extended Care won first place was the icing on the cake,” said Nikruto. “Thank you, Franciscan Health Care Foundation, for allowing us to be part of this great event. We are already looking forward to next year!”

For the Extended Care Consulting team, events like this provide a wonderful opportunity to get themselves into the community and support a worthy cause.
