First Friday at Lubeznik Center
Lubeznik Center for the Arts will be launching several new exhibits at this month's First Friday event. Head over to the Lubeznik Center site for more info. 

Footlight Theatre Presents Death
Footlight Theatre's next production, the classic spine-chiller “Deathtrap,” proves that nothing is more dangerous than a good idea. Running Feb. 3-5 and 9-12, this play will take audiences on a roller-coaster ride that alternately amuses and terrifies. 

Rock'n Skate
Valpo Parks will have a DJ and special lighting this week at the ice rink!

An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein
Welcome to the darkly comic world of Shel Silverstein, a world where nothing is as it seems and where the most innocent conversation can turn menacing in an instant. The ten imaginative plays in this collection range widely in content, but the style is unmistakable.

Career-Tech Pancake Breakfast
The A. K. Smith Career Center will host an all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast (pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice, and coffee).The breakfast will be held in the Elston cafeteria, 317 Detroit Street, Michigan City.

Enjoy an evening with friends at the Valparasio YMCA. It's all 80s themed! 

Roller Derby Season Opener
Northwest Indiana’s roller derby team the South Shore Roller Girls (SSRG) host their season-opening bout. On Saturday, SSRG starts the season off with a double header at the Hammond Civic Center.

Winter Wonderland Dinner Dance
The St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Schererville, is hosting a Winter Wonderland Dinner Dance on Saturday. The entertainment for the evening will be the band "Together," an eleven-member band featuring music from pop to rhythm and blues to big band and Latin rock.

Winterfest Programs at National Lakeshore
Come out and celebrate the winter season at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. They will be hosting a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, the Paul H. Douglas Center and throughout the park.
