Engstrom Jewelers will host their first ever Jewelry Auction and Storewide Sale March 14 and 15, 2014! Every item in the store will be on sale those two days, with 5% of the price of each item purchased donated to the American Heart Association.

The School City of Hobart presents Springfest, a fun and exciting event that is put on for a good cause.

Portage High School Student Variety Show
On March 14, Portage High School will once again present its annual Student Variety Show, featuring the talents of PHS students. The Student Variety show has been held each spring for nearly 30 years. This time-honored tradition has been a favorite with students and public alike, and this year's show will surely live up to that reputation.

Sundays in March at Options feature Two for $20.14. Guests can enjoy two buffets for just $20.14 plus tax from 7 am to 9 pm.

Shades of Gray Benefit Concert in Support of Neighbors Place, a Residence for Women
On Sunday, March 16th, local folk music group Shades of Gray will offer a benefit concert at 3:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church to help raise funds for Neighbors Place, a Residence for Women.

Purdue University North Central Odyssey Arts and Cultural Events Series is presenting the exhibit, "Travel Notes from the Field," a collection of paintings by Feargal Doyle on display Jan. 13 through May 31 in the PNC Library-Student-Faulty Building student lounge, Room 062. Building hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Library-Student-Faculty Building is closed on Sundays.

Early packet pick-up will be available at Val's Famous Pizza and Grinders, 112 S. 11th Street, Chesterton on Friday, March 14th from 5-8p.m. Race participants receive a 10% discount on dine-in or carry-out items that evening. Race Day packet pick up begins at 7:30AM. The kids fun run begins at 8:30. 5K starts at 9:00AM

CPHS Spring Musical "Bye Bye Birdie"
BYE BYE BIRDIE is one of the most captivating musical shows of our time. It tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army. The singer, Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, has a pompadour and thick sideburns; he wears gaudy gold costumes and speaks in a rugged voice. Albert Peterson, his agent, is a very pleasant mild mannered young man. Albert's faithful secretary Rose Alvarez keeps him and Birdie moving forward in the world. Rosie concocts one final national publicity plan before Conrad's induction.
