The Board and Staff of Junior Achievement of Chicago, NWI Division, are thrilled to announce our Second Annual Gala. The Avalon Manor in Merrillville will be transformed on Friday, February 23rd into a magical Winter Wonderland for the JA Prom, so dust off your dancing shoes and join us for an evening of fun and surprises!
As you may know, JA provides unique learning experiences for students throughout Northwest Indiana. These programs strengthen students' awareness of three critical pillars: Financial Literacy, Work Readiness, and Entrepreneurship. JA's comprehensive curriculum starts in kindergarten and goes through high school, empowering the next generation to own their economic success through every stage of life!
JA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and we rely solely on the generosity of businesses and individuals to continue to bring these amazing programs to schools throughout NWI. Last school year, we were in over 2,000 classrooms in Lake and Porter County, reaching over 49,000 students! By sharing JA's real world programming with students, we can count on having young men and women who are ready to take their places in the world we live in! The impact of these programs will last a lifetime, and its all thanks to generous supporters in our community!
