Hammond's 11th annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, sponsored by Mayor Thomas M. McDermott Jr., the Hammond Parks Department and Pepsi Beverage Company, will be held on Saturday, May 2 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 S. Sohl Avenue.
Entertainment will be provided by Ballet Folklorico Yolotzin, Mariachi Imperial Azteca and the band Together. Tickets are only $15, which includes an evening of entertainment and a full plate of authentic Mexican food.
