Just as summer’s festival season comes to an end, don’t forget there’s still one more! The Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce and the City of Whiting’s 4th Annual Oktoberfest will be taking over downtown Whiting on Saturday, October 5th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Whiting’s downtown will be decked out in its fall best with scarecrows, corn stalks and hay bales. This exciting event has something to offer the whole family and is a great way to kick off the fall season!
The 2013 Oktoberfest will feature a Bier Garten, a Chili Cook Off, Apple/Pumpkin Bake off, many food vendors, live entertainment, BBQ Showdown, arts & crafts, a KidZone with games and rides for the little ones and so much more!
This year’s Oktoberfest will prove to be the best one yet, so mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5th because you don’t want to miss out on all the fun!
