Munster Parks to Host Grape Escape

Grape-EscapeWine Festival Returns to Centennial Park

The Munster Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its annual Grape Escape event at Centennial Park, Munster, on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

For a fee of $5 per person, festival-goers over the age of 21 can enter the tasting area for samples of local wine and beer from Buck Creek Winery, Easley Winery, and Madison County Winery, as well as Cavalier Inn. Additional glasses of wine and beer will be sold by the vendors, likewise bottles will be sold for carry out. New this year: buy a commemorative wine glass for $5 each.

The event will run from noon to 8:00 p.m. and feature fine artists, arts and crafts vendors, an ethnic market, and several food vendors. Stick around for live music performed by 25 or 6 to 4, as well as performances by David Blixt, Chris and Lou, and Time Peace Unplugged.
