St. Mary Medical Center in Valparaiso to Showcase Work of Chesterton Art Center Members

Cancer-Survivorship-1St. Mary Medical Center is partnering with the Chesterton Art Center who will provide artwork created by local artists to hang in the Valparaiso facility, located at 3800 St. Mary Dr., Valparaiso, IN 46383. Artists who would like to be considered for the program must be a member of the Chesterton Art Center.

All 2-D mediums will be accepted for submission. Submissions should include (1) digital image per piece with a maximum number of pieces at (10). With each submission, include the title, size (with frame) and medium.

All entries are to be sent to Martha McGuckin, the liaison between the Art Center and St. Mary Medical Center. Her email is bomar17@frontier.com. Submissions will be forwarded to St. Mary Medical Center for their approval.

St. Mary Medical Center is looking for large artwork or groups of pieces that will cover a significant amount of wall space. The subject matter should be appropriate for a soothing, professional environment. Mats and frames (if applicable) must be in pristine condition and include "C" or "D" hangers - no wiring necessary.

The accepted pieces will hang until May 15, with new work coming in approximately (3) times a year. The artist will be asked to be present when the work is hung. Each participant can leave information about themselves and their work, including pricing and possible custom options.
