In this introductory class, students will learn the fundamentals of glass fusing while creating a coaster and some jewelry pieces. The basic concepts of layout, glass cutting, fusing and kiln work will be covered.

Opening Reception of MCAS Elementary Art Exhibit

Join us for the opening reception for the Michigan City Area Elementary School students art exhibit. Impressive in both quality and quantity, this striking display of art and fine crafts includes two and three - dimensional pieces by Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Created in the art rooms of the Michigan City public schools, a variety of art mediums including paint, clay, chalk pastels, and paper are represented at each grade level.
