Poetry Slam
Featuring J.W. Baz
5-8pm (CDT)
Free

The Poetry Slam invites poets to showcase their works in a raucous audience-juried event. Each entrant should prepare three original pieces, each under 3 minutes in length. Each poet will be provided the opportunity to present one of their works. In tournament style, poets will be eliminated each round until one is left standing as the Poetry Slam Champion.

2014 Summer
Camp Classes
Now Available!
Classes begin July 14th

Culture Club Camp is a two week summer camp that introduces students to a variety of art, crafts, music and foods from different cultures. (Ages 7-13)

Famous Artists Club Camp Students will investigate the works of well-known artists and create their own master pieces from the inspirational subjects and techniques in this class. (Ages 7-13)

Pop-Up Art is a three day workshop where students learn the basic mechanisms for pop-up structures and how to make pop-up images from simple original drawings. (Ages 10-15)

Lee Purcell is our gallery shop artist of the month. Purcell draws inspiration from 25 years of practice in architecture. He uses a variety of stainless steel materials such as helical spring lock washers in his jewelry to create breathtaking pieces. Purcell has necklaces, earrings, and bracelets for sale in our shop.
