It's not uncommon for artists in all media to build up an inventory of their own artworks.. Artist members of the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery have decided to hold a "Studio Clearance" sale with very special pricing for their yearly "Gift of Art" Exhibit this December. All artworks will be reduced by 50% (or more).
The Exhibit will feature original artworks, all priced down to $100 or less (originally $200 or more). Our many talented members are displaying a variety of their works, from traditional to contemporary, in all media. This is a great opportunity for art lovers to acquire unique works of art, paintings, photography and other media to give as holiday gifts or to enhance their own home at great prices. Some of our Gift Shop items will also be on sale. Find the perfect gift here, or just treat yourself! These, now especially affordable one-of-a-kind pieces by member artists are a true find.
The exhibit opens on Friday December 6, from 5-8pm, with a free refreshments/snacks Reception in conjunction with Michigan City’s “First Friday” celebration in the historic Uptown Arts District. All participating artists will be present during the opening event.
"Gift of Art" will run through Sunday, December 29 at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery, 724 Franklin Street, Michigan City. Gallery open hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm (CST).
