NorthShore Health Centers, GreatNews.Life expand partnership to cover more Good News

GreatNews.Life (GNL) is proud to announce an expansion of its partnership with NorthShore Health Centers. Now, NorthShore is taking on an even larger role in promoting the good news in Northern Indiana by sponsoring both the #1StudentNWI internship program and the inspiring Survivor Series feature.

NorthShore has been supporting good news from the beginning, and that support has been nothing but encouraging to the GNL team.

“Our partnership with NorthShore Health Centers, one of our foundational and longest-standing partners, has been nothing short of fantastic. NorthShore's impact on our community has always been significant, and their commitment to spreading positivity is truly inspiring. I am very grateful for their backing of our mission to share good news,” said GNL Founder Chris Mahlmann. “I am excited to see how these sponsorships will grow the work we do for Northwest Indiana and help the support we give to the Region's student population.”

The #1StudentNWI internship program offers student journalists from high schools across the Region an opportunity to receive real-world experience, professional feedback, and portfolio development under the guidance of GNL’s team of editors. The Survivor Series feature highlights the incredible journeys of cancer survivors, offering them a platform to share their stories.

NorthShore’s community focus made stepping into a sponsorship role for both series an easy decision.

“NorthShore's decision to expand sponsorship with GNL is rooted in our commitment to serving and supporting a demographic that truly benefits from our services. GNL's focus on sharing positive news aligns with our values, highlighting stories on resilience, family unity, and community engagement, which is what NorthShore is all about.” Tricia Hall, Senior Director of Brand Strategy.

Since establishing their partnership, GNL has helped NorthShore share hundreds of stories, photos, videos, and events with the communities it serves. From employee spotlights to community events to developments such as the new clinics opening across the Region, GNL and NorthShore work together to ensure that over 100,000 readers have access to affordable, patient-first healthcare options.

Thanks to partners like NorthShore, GNL is able to continue providing the Region with reliable, positive news at absolutely no cost to the reader. With NorthShore’s continued support, it only takes one click to “Read It, Love It, Share It.”
