Services include music, prayer, brief reflection on the meaning of 9/11 for us Americans, the meaning of Patriots Day, and a proclamation by Mayor David Uran. The Memorial Flag will be lowered to half-staff and participants will be offed the chance to place a small flag on the memorial.
The Lake Courthouse Foundation will also kick off Patriots week with a Fundraiser Brunch on September 7 at 11:30 a.m. in the Courthouse Maki Ballroom. Those interested in purchasing tickets can contact the Lake Courthouse Foundation at 219-663-0660.
