“Hunger touches every community in the Region,” said Steve Beekman, executive director of the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. “We are grateful to community partners like Majestic Star, Jewel, WSHE and WDRV for helping ensure that every individual and family in need has access to nutritious food this holiday season.”

One in six Northwest Indiana residents struggles with hunger year-round, but the pressure of the holiday season can make it even more difficult for families trying to make ends meet. The Food Bank provides additional food assistance to people in need throughout the holiday season. For more information on where to receive help or how to get involved, visit foodbanknwi.org.
