Methodist Hospitals Holds 2016 Service Awards Luncheon to Honor Volunteers

Methodist Hospitals honored 112 Volunteers at their 2016 Annual Service Awards Luncheon. All Volunteers were recognized with special recognition given to 16 Volunteers with over 10 years of service, 9 with over 20 years of service, 2 with over 30 years of service, 1 with over 40 years of service and 1 with over 50 years of service.

Emma Greenwood, Auxiliary President, presented Shelly Major, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, with a check for $13,200. Included as part of the celebration the Auxiliary proudly awarded three $1,000 scholarships. Two scholarships were presented to nurses Lisa Maddy, RN from the NICU unit at the Southlake Campus and Nancy Zondor, RN, from the Home Health Services Department. Also receiving a scholarship for $1,000 was Aaron Woodson, former Teen Volunteer, now a freshman at Indiana University Northwest.

Volunteers wear their jackets proudly.
