The tradition of decorating a soldier’s grave is an American custom. In honor of the men and women who sacrificed their lives, the City of Crown Point will host its yearly Memorial Day Parade.
The parade will stage at 10:30 a.m. on May 30 at the Municipal lot across from Wheeler Middle School. The route will begin at Wheeler Middle School heading west on Joliet, south on South Main toward Wells and end at Maplewood Cemetery.
