About Hoosier Burn Camp:
First conceived by the office of the Indiana State Fire Marshal and Riley Hospital for Children, Hoosier Burn Camp was founded in 1997 to extend physical and mental rehabilitation opportunities to severe burn survivors in Indiana ages 8 to 18.

Hoosier Burn Camp programs help burn survivors build self-esteem and realize their highest potential as they overcome the pain and trauma associated severe burn injury.

The programs were developed to combine the fun of summer camp with opportunities to build life skills that kids need to fully recover from the trauma of their burn injuries. They create worry-free environments where young burn survivors can just be one of the kids, while they develop the personal strength to reach their highest potential.

Through the monetary generosity of donors and emotional generosity of volunteers, Hoosier Burn Camp is able to provide a character building experiences at no cost to campers and their families.
