Sand Creek Country Club Selects Christian Steciuch as Alice Wesson Scholarship Recipient

2014-Recipient-Christian-SteciuchAt Sand Creek Country Club’s Labor Day Celebration, held Sunday, August 31, Christian Steciuch was honored by being selected to receive the Alice Wesson Scholarship. The Alice Wesson Scholarship Fund is in honor of Alice Wesson, a beloved Sand Creek employee for eighteen years, who tragically lost her life in an automobile accident September 1, 2000. In her memory, a scholarship fund was established to benefit her heirs, Sand Creek employees, and their children.

Christian has been with Sand Creek since July 2011. Within three years, he has moved from banquet busser to banquet server and then in January of 2014, he became a server in the Grill Room. Since then Christian has taken on a few new roles; Clock Garden server and Men’s Lounge attendant. He has excelled at every challenge that has been put in front of him with a great attitude and great smile.

Christian is currently studying for his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Purdue University Calumet. Christian is the son of Florian and Sadie Steciuch.
