AT&T Makes Corporate Gift to Lake Area United Way

AT-and-T-Lake-Area-united-WayAT&T recently made a corporate gift of $8,000 to Lake Area United Way’s Community Campaign. The presentation took place at United Way’s office in Griffith.

“AT&T shares the commitment of United Way to make life better in Northwest Indiana. We are proud to be able to support Lake Area United Way’s efforts to increase the impact of innovative programs with proven results in this community,” said Steven Rogers, Director-Government Relations for AT&T Indiana.

Accepting the donation, T.J. Holsen, LAUW’s Development Director, said, “We’re honored as always to accept this significant contribution from AT&T. For many years running, AT&T and its employees have partnered with United Way to help individuals and strengthen our community. They understand that by working together, we can achieve lasting change.”

Founded in 1971, Lake Area United Way invests contributions donated to its community campaign in local programs and initiatives to advance education, financial stability, and health in Lake County.
