Schererville Parks and Recreation Department to Celebrate Schererville Festival at Redar Park

Schererville-Parks-and-Recreation-LogoFrom June 13 through June 17, the Schererville Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Town of Schererville, will host Celebrate Schererville Festival at Redar Park.

This year’s rides and carnival games will be presented by All-Star Amusement. The Knights of Columbus will sponsor BINGO, which will be available from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM nightly from Thursday through Saturday.

There will be a large variety of food booths available to attendees of the festival. In addition, the beer garden, which will be operated by Firefighters Local 4279, will be open daily from Wednesday to Sunday.

There will be live music on a nightly basis. On Wednesday, Pandora Rocks will perform from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Thursday’s performer will be Mike Gallemore & Bad Hands, and they will perform from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Mr. Funnyman, the “ultimate variety band,” will play on Friday night from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. On Saturday, Dick Diamond & The Dusters will play from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. On Sunday, Jerica Paliga will play from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Nicole Jamrose will perform Sunday night from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Presale tickets are available only at the Schererville Town Hall for $20.00 per wristband; tickets will be available now until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 13. Presale wristbands will be honored at the following times: Wednesday June 13th through Friday June 15th 5-11PM, Saturday June 16th 2-6PM ONLY, and Sunday June 17th 2-9PM. Regular price tickets can be purchased at the ticket booths for $25 per wristband. There are some height restrictions on rides.

There will be parking available at Redar Park on Park Street and South Park Avenue, as well as in the parking lot across the street from the park on Reiplinger Road. Overflow parking will be available at the Schererville Town Hall, Schererville Police Department, and Schererville Community Center.
