Indigenous Landscapes Exhibit to Close March 19 at Indiana Welcome Center

NewSouthShoreCVA-logo“Indigenous Landscapes: Imprints of the South Shore,” an art exhibit highlighting natural settings along the South Shore, will close at the Indiana Welcome Center on Thursday, March 19. The exhibit features approximately 80 pieces in a variety of artistic forms and includes iconic locations such as the Indiana Dunes, Hoosier Prairie and Gibson Woods.

The exhibition, a White Ripple Gallery & Co. exhibit and an official exhibit of the University of Notre Dame’s Indigenous World program, celebrates the natural settings near and along the shores of Lake Michigan native to the states of Illinois, Indiana and Michigan that remain undisturbed since the times of the indigenous people of the area.
