Munster Parks’ Grape Escape, Wine Festival Returns to Centennial Park

munster-parksThe Munster Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its annual Grape Escape event at Centennial Park, Munster, on Saturday, July 19, 2014.

For a fee of $5 per person, festival-goers over the age of 21 can enter the tasting area for samples of local wine and beer from Easley Winery, Madison County Winery and Windy Ridge Vineyard & Winery, as well as Cavalier Inn. Additional glasses of wine and beer will be sold by the vendors, likewise bottles will be sold for carry out. A commemorative wine glass for $5 each will be sold as well.

The event will run from noon to 8:00 p.m. and feature fine artists, arts and crafts vendors, an ethnic market, and several food vendors. Stick around for live music performed by 25 or 6 to 4, as well as performances by David Blixt, Chris and Lou, and Time Peace Unplugged.
