The team heads down to Indianapolis on Friday morning to play in the state championship game Saturday at 5 pm central time as Griffith attempts to bring home its first ever state basketball championship.

The Lake County Board Of Commissioners through the Lake County Highway Department is notifying all Public Agencies and the General Public that BROAD STREET BETWEEN 73RD AVENUE (JOLIET STREET) will be closed for tree removal beginning Monday, MARCH 30, 2015 starting at 7:00 am. (DAY TIME CLOSURES ONLY) ALL WORK IS TO BE COMPLETED ON OR BEFORE Wednesday, APRIL 1, 2015. - Weather permitting.
Detour routes will be as follows;
North Bound Broad Street at 73rd Avenue: Take 73rd Avenue west to Cline Avenue, Cline Avenue north to Avenue H, Avenue H east to Broad Street.
South Bound Broad Street at Avenue H: Take Avenue H west to Cline Avenue, Cline Avenue south to 73rd Avenue, 73rd Avenue east to Broad Street.
