At a recent Cedar Lake Town Council meeting, town staff and council members held a ceremony for the official unveiling of their newly designed logo.
The Town of Cedar Lake recently formed a branding committee consisting of multiple town members, who then teamed up with Mixdesign, Inc. located in Schererville to begin the stages of a rebrand. The first step was to recreate the look of the town’s brand, by designing a new logo portraying the colors and feelings that best represent the story of Cedar Lake.
Guest Speaker, South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority President/CEO, Speros A. Batistatos, spoke briefly about the Town of Cedar Lake's significance to Northwest Indiana and congratulated town members on the start of a new brand. Randell Niemeyer, Town Council President of Cedar Lake, also took a moment to express this is only the beginning of future growth for the town.
“We believe this branding initiative will clearly pave way for Cedar Lake and what lies ahead,” explains Niemeyer. “We are poised to realize our potential for future growth, and we want people to share our initiative, enjoy everything this town has to offer, and explore everyday.”
Niemeyer concluded by encouraging everyone to visit the Town of Cedar Lake this fall to relax and enjoy this time of year’s beautiful sunset views. As a nearby neighbor to many surrounding Northwest Indiana communities, and being only a short distance from the shores of Lake Michigan and Chicago, the Town of Cedar Lake has potential to serve as a destination for all to enjoy.
