Sheriff Lain to Present at Duneland Chamber’s Sunrise Seminar

rot1Sheriff David Lain will be the speaker for the Duneland Chamber of Commerce’s free Sunrise Seminar on Thursday, July 10. This seminar is scheduled a week later than usual due to the holiday in the previous week. The upcoming educational seminar, is sponsored by Prompt Ambulance. Sheriff Lain will be sharing information on the Porter County Triad.

The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Riley’s Railhouse – an historic bed and breakfast located in the heart of downtown Chesterton at 123 4th Street. The public is invited to attend this free seminar, which will include a continental breakfast, provided by Sunrise Family Restaurant, and networking opportunities.

The Porter County Triad operates under the guidance of Porter County Sheriff David Lain. The triad is dedicated to servicing the needs of the seniors of the community. “The Porter County Triad is a partnership of law enforcement, area seniors, senior health care providers, clergy, social service organizations and state and local agencies dedicated to creating a sense of belonging among the experienced and valued segment of our society, our seniors.” The members of the community are invited to bring anyone that would benefit from hearing Sheriff Lain’s presentation.
