St. Mary, Crown Point Students Visit Washington D.C. on Annual Class Trip

The 8th grade class from St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point recently journeyed to Washington D.C., to visit the nation’s capital. The students represented their school very well, receiving compliments from the flight staff on the way to D.C., as well as, every step of the way on the journey.

During our trip St. Mary’s students visited many monuments and other points of interest. Four of the students were selected to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. An education at St. Mary’s and the opportunities provided to students go well beyond academics.
