The Enormous Egg, a story about a dinosaur that hatches out of a hen's egg, was the One School One Book choice for Bailly Elementary school this fall. In conjunction with the school wide reading program, students raised money through weekly fundraisers for the Westchester Migratory Bird Sanctuary due to the correlation with eggs. In total Bailly students donated $515 to the cause. Pictured at the Sanctuary are, front, left to right, seated, Jany Zhang, Karina Vasquez, Meadiow Crowley, Taylor Shvedas with check Miguel Rivera and Katie Rehtorik. Back, Kenny Callaway, Logan Pokorney, Kaiden VanCleef, Nate Pace, teachers (fund raiser organizers) Nancy Moats and Tonya Earle, Principal Kevin Zeck presenting a check to Richard Maxey, Sanctuary committee chairman and project manager.
