CCSJ to Celebrate Life and Art with Humanities Festival

Join Calumet College of St. Joseph’s (CCSJ) for a weeklong celebration of the arts and the human collective at their annual Humanities Festival, Monday April 4 through Friday April 9.

The Humanities Festival kicks off at noon on Monday in Room 200 with a Keynote Address entitled: “Can You Hear the Eco?” The address will explore what the words of Pope Francis can teach about our own relationships.

Following the address, the festival swings into full gear with a weeklong celebration of the human condition and the world we live in featuring: philosophical debates; plays performed by the CCSJ Drama Club; comedy shows; poetry readings; movies and more.

Plus, on Saturday April 9, CCSJ will partner with the Art Institute of Chicago that will allow students and staff of the college to come see the works of the masters like Picasso and Renoir for free.
