Liberty and Westchester Intermediate Schools competed in their 10th annual Battle of the Books recently. Ten teams of fifth and sixth graders competed in a 100 question book battle that tested their knowledge of titles both from this year's Indiana Young Hoosier list, as well as books selected by media specialists Carrie Disney of Liberty and Paul Napier of Westchester Team 6 of Westchester was the winning team, front, left to right, Kathleen Quinn and Mattea Sklut.
