Recently students from Bailly, Brummitt, Jackson, Liberty and Yost Elementary competed in a Duneland Schools District Book Bowl. Each of the five elementary schools hosted an individual Book Bowl where students answered questions about certain books that they read from the Young Hoosier Books list. The winning team from each school then competed in the District Book Bowl held at Chesterton Middle School.
The winning team was from Bailly Elementary. Back row, Liberty students Tanner Lipka, Jacob Rutkowski, Fabio Haiduc, Shawna Garr, and Emma Vetroczky; Yost students, Kaden Donnella, Taylor Schnatz, Chloe Wisniewski, Cadence Orange, Riley Hawksworth; and Jackson students continued Joshua Nixon and Jack Sparks.
