Guest speaker Nancy Chrzan recently gave a presentation to the entire Chesterton Middle School seventh grade regarding her travels and organization in India. Chrzan, a Chesterton resident, runs an organization that assists children in Calcutta, India.
Over the years, she has taken her family and many members of the community with her to visit the city. The presentation helps to reinforce the curriculum in seventh grade by explaining the standard of living, the caste system, social structure of India, the government, culture, and people.
