As part of the science curriculum, second graders at Brummitt Elementary have been exploring what it would be like to be an engineer. After learning the steps of the design process, students had an opportunity to take part in planning and creating two different projects. Students were given a problem in which they needed to solve using recycled materials. Top photo, students in Elyce Herman's class students built bridges.
