Black or Hispanic students who are pursuing a course of study that would enable them to teach in an accredited school in Indiana may be eligible for a Minority Teacher & Special Services Scholarship.
Applications for the Minority Teacher Scholarship must be completed by Oct. 4, 2014. Each application must also be accompanied by a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which may take up to 7 business days from filing to be available in the state's records (visit the FAFSA website).
Note that only first-time undergraduate students are eligible to receive the Minority Teacher Scholarship.
