Indiana Criminal Justice Association Conference Coming to Area

Indiana-Criminal-Justice-AssociationGroup to host 3-day conference at Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza

The Indiana Criminal Justice Association will be hosting their fall conference, Exploring the Past to Shape the Future, at Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 18.

Throughout the conference, attendees will enjoy various programs, events, exhibits, an awards lunch, Thursday Fun Night and a brunch on Friday.

The Indiana Criminal Justice Association is a professional member association with the mission of enhancing the continuum of criminal justice in Indiana by focusing on the enrichment of criminal justice professionals and the criminal justice system. Members are drawn from a variety of disciplines including parole, probation, correctional facilities, community-based facilities, treatment centers, schools, law enforcement, the judiciary, students, volunteers and related government and private agencies.

The objectives of the organization are to promote awareness of the criminal justice system, to promote a spirit of cooperation among criminal justice disciplines, to raise the standards of professional practices in the delivery of treatment and rehabilitative services and to provide training and educational opportunities for criminal justice professionals statewide.
