South Shore CVA Receives Two Awards

The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority recently received two awards recognizing their updated website and a promotional video for their redesigned mobile site.

Through the APEX Awards, the South Shore CVA received an Award of Excellence for their redesigned website. The annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.

Through the Videographer Awards, the South Shore CVA received an Award of Distinction for a promotional video for their redesigned mobile site. The Videographer Awards is one of the most coveted awards in the video industry. The goal of the Videographer Awards is to identify and recognize the video artisans who excel in the scope of their own environment.

 

The South Shore CVA released the updated website in December 2012 with a fresh design utilizing the South Shore Line poster series. According to Speros A. Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore CVA, the organization used the posters to pay homage to the history of the region.
