Porter Health Care System recently named Terri Gingerich, director of Porter’s Cardiovascular Service Line, as Porter’s Clinical Manager of the Year, and Christian Goss, director of Facilities, as Porter’s Non-Clinical Manager of the Year.
As director of Porter’s Cardiovascular Service Line, Gingerich supervises all services provided at Porter’s award-winning Center for Cardiovascular Medicine.
Upon receiving this award, Gingerich shared her thoughts on the honor and working with a strong, dedicated team. “I am really honored to receive this type of recognition in such an incredible group of high quality leaders,” shared Gingerich. “I always say we are in the ‘people business.’ And the team at the Center for Cardiovascular Medicine exemplifies that by sharing the same values and working together to do our very best work for the patients we serve. It shows through our growth, reputation and many distinguished accreditations.”
As director of Facilities, Goss oversees the ever-increasing needs of all of the facilities’ associated with Porter Health Care System. This includes overseeing everything from daily maintenance such as fixing a patient’s bed or changing light bulbs to all construction projects – big and small.
Goss also acknowledged his team when receiving this honor. "This award is a reflection of the successes our team has seen the past two years. Every member is valued, responsible, and dedicated to providing the best clinical support possible,” said Goss. “It is an honor and a privilege to work with them every day. We truly care.”
