Really Excellent People: Karl Wehle

REP-karl-wehleNorthwest Indiana is a growing area of the country that welcomes many families that make their way to us. And with the families come the homes in which they must reside. So who comes in to play when it’s time to buy or sell a home? There are multiple businesses in the area, but one stands out in particular. Realty Executives Premier, located in downtown Valparaiso, gives home buyers and sellers the people, experience and knowledge to get the job done right on the first try.

On to our third installment of the REP Series. You’ve already read about Jason Utesch and Jon Wolf, and now you have the pleasure of reading about Karl Wehle. Wehle is Broker Associate at Realty Executives Premier. His job is to assist clients in navigate through all of the twists and turns that can occur during a real estate transaction. On top of that, Wehle oversees a team of realtors. At this moment he has two buyer’s agents, a processor and a sales representative. They all do their best to make sure that client transactions run smoothly because like Wehle and the rest of the staff at Realty Executives Premier, this career path is more than just a job.

“Real estate became interesting to me during my licensing class,” Wehle said. “At that time, I hadn’t realized that real estate was my ‘career calling,’ but it quickly grew into something that I loved doing. I really enjoy the marketing side of real estate and I especially enjoy getting to know people.”

Wehle is a local resident and like many Hoosiers, he is a sports fan. He loves coaching in his free time and playing golf and basketball. He is an avid fan of “da Bears” and he’s an even bigger fan of his family. He has four children that range from 2-8 years of age. He loves nothing more than spending time with them.

What brought Wehle to Realty Executives Premier were the people. He admired the hard work and the positive attitudes that all of the agents had and he wanted to be a part of it.

“I joined the executive team because I saw a unique opportunity to be amongst some really hard working agents. I really admired the team of realtors that Broker and Owner, Mike Tezak, was able to put together. I also appreciate the tools that Realty Executives allows me to offer my clients. My goal is to put my clients in the best position possible and I saw Realty Executives Premier as a place where I could make that happen,” Wehle said. “I enjoy working at Realty Executives Premier because I am around other great realtors who know when to work hard and know when to have fun too. “

There are other real estate agencies in the area, but Wehle feels that Realty Executives Premier stands out among the crowd because of the quality of the services that they offer and the exceptional abilities of the agents.

“Realty Executives is going to offer our clients the most up-to-date technology. Our agents have the ability to offer our clients a large amount of advantages when it comes to selling or buying real estate,” Wehle said. “My favorite thing about my job is making people happy. I enjoy helping other people to reach their goals!”

Wehle does work throughout Northwest Indiana. He and his agents often work double-time and overtime to make sure that their clients get the results that they desire. He mentioned that at times their hard work is overshadowed by the media.

“I think that T.V. makes our job seem simpler than it actually is. There is a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes to get a buyer and seller to the closing table. We, as realtors, are problem solvers who are constantly finding solutions to problems that can arise during any real estate transaction. Having a knowledgeable realtor is extremely important and can save a home buyer and seller time and money,” Wehle said.

To end, Wehle wished to doll out some important tips for buyers and sellers on how to be prepared for the home buying and/or selling process.

“Be open-minded,” Wehle said. “Trusting and ready to work alongside of us. We are the ones that are in the trenches every day and have a good understanding of how to make the buying or selling process run as smoothly as possible.”
